Good Day, While exploring Milwaukee during NAHBPC, riding on some of the worst roads I've ever experienced, my 4year/10,000mile+ B17 Imperial Saddle had catastrophic failure. I immediately went to a local bicycle collective and found a quick replacement. After returning home, I assessed the extent of the failure and was heartbroken. Both rails broke clean off! Assuming, warranty replacement would take upwards of 2 weeks, I contacted Brooks via email and purchased some spare parts from the website and hoping the parts would make it to me in time for me to attempt to rebuild my first, only, and favorite brooks saddle. To my delight, a new bracket assembly and 6 copper rivets arrived in less than 2 days. I assembled the parts and was able to rebuild my saddle in less than an hour.
